Euclid Network

EN is the European network of third sector leaders, with core funding from the EC. Established in 2007 as a joint venture between national networks in UK, France and Sweden, it currently connects about 30 leaders from 30 countries across Europe for a more innovative, professional and sustainable European civil society.

EN runs four program areas: peer learning (exchange programs between members); sustainable funding (campaigning to reform European funding, sharing innovative methods of funding for the sector); good governance (a research project to develop a pan-European governance code); and lobbying and advocacy (to influence policy and convince policy makers that civil society should not and cannot be marginalized in their work). EN also runs specific projects to strengthen civil society in Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and the states that comprised the former Soviet Union. EN activities mobilize the expertise distributed throughout the network, partnerships, and the latest ICT.
